Minty Mixed Bag Challenge #49 - Featured Font - Deadline: April 15
We've made some exciting changes to the Mixed Bag Monday Challengesto suit you better! From now on, instead of posting a new challenge each week we're going to post 2 challenges together and give you TWO weeks to play! Challenges will now always be posted on the 1st (deadline the 15th) and the 16th (deadline end of the month). So every month you will still find 4 new MBM challenges and have 7 extra days to play along and WIN! And to KICK OFF this fab new change ALL challenges will be worth $5 (what?!) yes $5 Minty Bucks instead of $1 this month ONLY.
And now here's Steph (pajama_mama) with your first challenge...
Hello lovely ladies (and gentlemen, if you're out there)! Steph here with April's Featured Font Challenge! Personally, I love a good handwritten font. I've been working at including journaling on every page I make, so I've been collecting some go-to fonts that show up well on the page and are easy to read. For this challenge, I thought I'd introduce you to one of my newest favorites! It's called Pea Sheila and it's pretty much a perfect journaling font.
HOW TO PLAY:
This challenge is a great way to bulk up your font collection and experiment with typography (the art of arranging text on a page). Download the featured (FREE) font and use it on your page. But don’t just ‘use’ it…really USE it and let’s see what you can create.
THE RULES:
1. Create a page using the font featured above.
2. Use a healthy portion of Peppermint Creative products.
3. Post your page in the Main Gallery & link to it in this thread.
4. Winner to be announced April 16th (as selected by challenge hostess).
5. Winner receives FIVE Minty Bucks ($5 Gift Card to the PC store).
6. One page per challenge please.
DEADLINE: April 15, 2011 (midnight EST)

I love fonts -- especially ones that show up well on a page and still have a fun style! This is a cute font and I'll definitely use it for journaling on a page soon! Thanks!
Thanks for this challenge! This font was perfect to finish off this layout, and I randomly didn't have it downloaded even though I have a million others!
This is great. I love the little stitches and the different medical elements. Definitely summed up the event well! You son doesn't look too happy here but being a boy, he'll probably love this page with its touch of gore and story when he looks back on it!! Nice job on the challenge.
