Happy January crafty friends!

The start of a new year brings a fresh start but can also bring a ton of pressure to make wild, unattainable resolutions that we’ve likely already failed to keep.

So how’s about we all stop resolving to change ourselves and pledge to start lovin’ ourselves just the wacky way we are. Now that would be a giant leap in the right direction, right?

So this year I say NO to resolutions.

This year my only ‘resolution’, if you can call it that, is to continue practicing self-love and self-acceptance; something that should come so naturally but seems so difficult for so many of us to fully attain.

This year, I will continue to try my best, to forgive myself when I’m at my worst, to follow my intuition (even when I don’t understand it) and to continue to work on this whole self love thing.

And on that note, I am delighted to treat you to a NO RESOLUTION pocket card collection designed in black in white to make it easy for you to mix in with whichever kits or cards you choose.

A closer look:

Free printable wine tags 08

Cheers friends! ’Tis the season to get drunk and do stupid stuff in an ugly Christmas sweater at your Mom’s house – and you don’t want to arrive empty handed.

No matter where you’re going to get festive this season, a bottle of wine makes for an easy go-to hostess gift and since I have a compulsive need to ‘prett-ify’ anything I bring anywhere, I’ve put together a cute collection of wine tags for Christmas, Hanukkah and Holiday Cynics to share with you.

I will let you guess which tag is my favourite (cough, cough…it’s below).

Free printable wine tags 04

This is definitely a fun one for your best girlfriend, especially if you’re planning a festive ‘Girl’s Night’ or great for a family member with a good sense of humour.

If wine isn’t your thing, no problem. I’ve also included coordinating gift tags. With a quick squeeze of a hole punch or a little tape you can attach them to any gift, jar, box, bag etc.

It’s all ready to print with the print-ready PDF sheets. All you need is Adobe Acrobat Reader which you likely already have installed on your computer or tablet. I’ve also included separate JPG files for those who prefer to compile their own custom print sheets.

Assembly + Printing Tips:

1. Use quality paper
Be sure to use quality photo paper. Either matte, gloss or even semi-gloss. You’ll get a nice weight on the paper and great color saturation.

2. Get a crisp fold
Run a bone fold (or a letter opener) along a ruler on the dotted line where the wine tag should fold. This will ensure you get a nice crisp crease.

3. Perfectly punched holes
The wine tags holes to slide over the top of the bottle is sized perfectly for a 1 1/2″ punch. To use, hold the punch in your hand upside down so you are looking at the backside of the punch when punching. This way you can perfectly line up your punch over the circle.

You can also hand cut with scissors. Use a knife to cut an ‘X’ through the circle and trim away with precision scissors. It won’t be as clean but since the hole sits around the top of the bottle it’s not that noticeable.

Printale xmasbag

This quick and easy craft template comes FREE with purchase of the new Ho Ho Holiday Bundle and it’s super cute.

Just print the template from the printable PDF. I used Kodak Premium Gloss Photo Paper (66 lb). This gives fantastic colour saturation but note that it’s also a thick paper so I found it a little difficult to do the small folds.

IMG 1361

I’d recommend trying a thinner gloss or semi gloss paper or even a matte photo paper will look great too. Use a trimmer or a craft knife and ruler to cut out the template.

IMG 1365

Trace over the fold lines using your ruler and a bone fold.

IMG 1368

This makes a nice crease where the folds should be making it really easy to fold and also ensures your folds will be crisp and straight.

IMG 1371

Fold away starting at the bottom. Glue or adhere. I like using a glue runner which is an absolute must have for a million different things. If you don’t have one yet ad it to your stocking stuffer wishlist.

Screen Shot 2016 12 19 at 1 12 17 PM

Once folded starting at the bottom, fold over the top flap and you’re done. Fill with treats and glue the top flap over to close or use a simple round sticker.
