Happy Mint-spirational Monday!
It can be hard to stay optimistic. When everything seems to be going wrong, when it feels like your world is crumbling down around you, when you’re overextended and overwhelmed and you’re just trying to stay afloat, finding a silver lining is the last thing on your mind.
But thoughts are powerful. Negative thoughts create negative emotions which become negative actions or behaviors. Those actions create more negative thoughts and boom, you’re stuck in an emotional spin cycle of anger and frusteration which turns to depression, anxiety and an all round poopy attitude…and nobody likes a pooper.
A new week is starting so let’s kick it off with this reminder to fuel up on happy, productive, positive thoughts and squash down the negative, self-sabotaging, pessimistic ones as soon as they start coming up.
Remember negative attracts negative. Positive attracts positive.
