Love, LOVE the color combination here. I love the sophisticated feel of the monochromatic look and the addition of the bronze snaps and button works beautifully. The photo has been tinted just right to match perfectly which is a great detail. My favorite is that great stamp in the corner of the photo. Love how it’s only half showing. It really adds a realistic look!

Sick days suck but this page sure doesn’t. Love the layers and the fantastic use of so many elements. They are so perfectly placed so they don’t overwhelm the page and the photos are still the main focus. Not an easy task! Another not so easy task is to use both color and black & white photos in a single page. Ingrid did it and doggone-it, she did it well. But then again, Ingrid does everything well. Don’t ya just hate that?

This page just shouts FUN! Well not literally because a page can’t shout but if it could I think that’s what it would say. I LOVE the inclusion of scanned artwork, the artsy, crafty overall feel to this page and the scribbles running through the centre. Well executed and well balanced. Bravo.
Just Like Momma | Glumirk
Well this is just adorable. I love that shot. I can help but also love that his shirt matches this kit perfectly. Coincidence? Or carefully executed kit coordinated photo shoot – you decide. Either way, it’s great! The minimalist design works wonderfully and typewriter style font of the journaling is in is a great touch that goes perfectly with a the computer theme of the page.
Nutella & Toast Mustache | Missys3lilbugs
This one made me laugh – and I have to say it. This is a very creative use of nutella and toast. Excellent mustache shape-age. I love the whimsical nature of the layout. The fun colors really add to the mood of the photos. If this were American Idol (2 seasons ago) and I were Paula Abdul I would totally do that weird spread finger clap and tell this creative little genius ‘I loved it, you really made it your own’. Indeed.

This photo totally looks like a an ad for Eddie Bauer or something. Love the understated design and the funky use of the clear plastic pockets sitting on their side to hold the photo.

OMG look at that face! I just want to shmooosh it again and again. I absolutely adore the simple design. Everything about it from the paint splashed in the background to the tiny flowers floating away. Awesome.

Well you can’t go wrong with pictures of a cute baby in wings. I mean really. What kind of soul sucking robot would you be if you didn’t find this absolutely adorable? The kit used is the perfect balance to the darkness of the photos. Again it makes for a very sweet yet very masculine page. Who designed such a fantastically versatile kit? Oh right, that would be me [insert self-indulgent curtsy here].

Pretty in pink! Sometimes a layout is just great and you can’t really say ‘i like this’ or ‘i like that’ because it just all works. Like peanut butter and jelly. How do you explain peanut butter and jelly? It just works. That was probably not the best example. I actually hate peanut butter and jelly. But I definitely don’t hate this page. Most people like peanut butter and jelly though. I should have said ‘like peanut butter and chocolate’ now there’s a winning combination no one can argue with. But back to the page. The slight angles, the use of elements, the great title, the cute picture, the color choices….it’s just great!
“Beiber Fever” | Missys3lilbugs
Oh baby, baby, baby. It’s the Beibs. Gotta love him. He’s Canadian. I’m obligated by law. This page is just too cute. I know you think you are seeing double but you are actually looking at twins. C’mon that’s pretty dang adorable. I think the ‘Beiber’ must be the new ‘Rachel’. Remember the ‘Rachel’? I totally rocked that in high school. The colors are great with the photos here and I love the stacked photos! What a fun way to add a little extra oomph.
Slip & Slide | rjcjme
Extraction to the max-tion. This is fantastic. I totally want to try something like this with some boogie boarding pictures that I have. Not only do I love the awesome pop-up effect of the extracted photo but I also love the flow of the photos across the page like a wave. The water splashes add even more pop. Great design!

I’m going to file this one under ‘another page that just works’. The monochromatic color scheme, the mix of tones, the overall design. I just love it and it’s hard to pull it apart and say why. So just sit back and say ‘ooooooh, me likey.’

Because it does not exist. Naturally this page is no exception. Love the cluster at the top and rounded title is a neat and unique touch!

Sometimes simplicity is key. Sometimes it’s not. But right now it is. This page is almost like a layout contained in a layout. I love the clean lines and modern feel. Classic and elegant and I love the more feminine papers on a masculine page. It takes a real man to make pink hearts looks good.
