Stacey got fancy and turned the template on it’s side. Ooooooh! I actually didn’t even realize this was the PMP template when I first saw it in the gallery.

And Pix got got fancy too (what’s with all the fanciness?) and added a Jumbo Splatster and then clipped a sheet of digital paper to it to create that paper explosion effect in the centre. Cool beans!

Now, you don’t have to get fancy so don’t feel pressured if you’re just starting out. If you’re an experienced scrapper I expect to see some fancy sh*t.

A big congratulations and several resounding ‘oooohs and aaahhs’ go out to nina81 who posted this stunning page and has just won a $5 gift card to the store. I love how she colored in the bits of the alphabet from the Miso Lucky kit. So clever. I’m going to have to try that. I also love the contrast of the black and white photo along with the bright pops of colour on the page.

Unfortunately you cannot login using your store account. HOUSEKEEPING! Time to catch up on some important business. Looks like I’ve fallen behind in posting our most recent challenge winners. Way to go Miss Mint. High five. My sincerest apologies. I got all wrapped up in design mode for the last little while and it would seem that my mind can only focus on one thing at a time.

I am THRILLED beyond words to be typing my very first blog post from my shiny (well actually it’s more of a matte silver) new laptop. I feel so fancy. Everything WORKS….and FAST. Are you jealous? You should be.

Things aren’t crashing or freezing (yet). It’s a miracle! Seriously SO excited. Did I mention that I was excited? I’m excited. Even transferred everything over myself. I have to brag because it was no picnic. My email database corrupted and would not transfer or export. I called a local service expert who said he could give a try at $95 an hour but that Entourage databases were notoriously fickle and that he wasn’t too hopeful. So I had a go at it myself. And guess who did it? That’s right. This chick right here thank you very much. After some extensive Googling and some trial and plenty of error I got it done. Very pleased with myself (insert pat on the back).

So now that I’m mostly up and running it’s time to catch up on some important stuff. It’s time announce the winners for some of our most recent contests so congratulations to the following scrappers. You’ve won a $5 gift card to Peppermint Creative.

Wow! It’s SEPTEMBER! What?! Despite the fact that I’m not quite ready to say good-bye to summer, I’m feeling re-energized and refocused and ready to ROCK! Hope you are too!!!!! Get READY to be re-inspired and start scrapping your hearts out cause there are a lot of fab new products coming to you this month. LOTS! I had confessed on Facebook that I recently came across a whole pile of products that I had started working on once upon a time but for one reason or another, had never finished. This is my entry for this week’s Click-a-Pic Challenge (CAP). The prompt this week was to shoot a series of self-portraits. In coming up with a title for this post all I can hear is ‘I’m Too Sexy’ playing in my head. LOL! The ultimate ‘channel your inner supermodel’ song.

YES, I felt like a total dork making stupid faces at the camera…by myself…with a shutter remote.

YES, the outtakes were definitely cringe worthy and..

YES, i LOOOOOOOVE Photoshop (I HEART you healing brush)

But I think it was a fun experiment and I ended up with a few fun shots. If you’re like me (always the one taking the pictures) you likely don’t have too many fun photos of yourself and we all need a FEW!
