Mint Chick Megan Whitney here with a confession: I’ve been failing at memory-keeping lately and seeing friends dedicate themselves to NaNoWriMo has inspired me to do my own form of writing: journaling on my scrapbook pages.
We’ve been making lots of memories, but my documentation hasn’t been great. I get busy and fall behind. I’ve got lots of stories to tell but they aren’t making it on to the page. With the holiday’s coming I’d like to create a book or two for the grandparents so I’m motivated to crack the whip and get started. Are you in the same blank paged boat?
Join me for #NaScrapBoMo (National Scrapbook Month?) I know, a stretch at best!
My goals are: Scrap one page a day, or at least spend 30 minutes on memory keeping (writing down all of the little stories to go along with my pictures).
Let’s do it together and keep one another on track. Hop on over to the Get Minty Facebook Community Group and join us in this fun self-challenge. Post what your goals are and share your pages. Let’s encourage each other to catch up on our memory keeping.
I missed a day of #NaScrapBoMo yesterday because I was in charge of a huge church activity and the teacher for the photography class canceled last minute, so I had to throw one together. The good news is that it got me really inspired for how to go about taking pictures this holiday season. It ended up being fabulous and running far smoother than I ever could have imagined because I was working with some great people. So now I can focus on scrapbooking and putting together the projects I want to finish for Christmas!
Last one so far…
