March 2009

Get out the air freshener – there’s a whole lots of TOOTIN’ going on! I just got  my copy of Canadian Scrapbooker featuring my layout ‘Hope’ in the mail. So exciting! And it even included a little blurb I wrote about desaturating the photos. Woot!

Use Your Scraps!
By: Mary Jo Johnston

If you’re like me, you have a pile of paper scraps that you just can’t seem to part with! Yes, I save them all! Maybe it’s the thought of throwing away all the time I put into printing my digital papers, the expense or just my love for all of those gorgeous designs. Whatever your reason, here’s a great project that will justify keeping your stash!

Hi All! Sorry about the extended down time on the site last/this week. I had to switch hosts with very little advance notice and although the transfer took a little longer than expected, it went pretty smoothly and all is well now and I’m happy to be back! The introductory offer on the new vector files was extended and tomorrow is the LAST DAY to save on them so be sure to check them all out. Lots of cool stuff to be had.

Be sure to pick it up and give it a whirl! There are so many uses for fantastic word art – what will you create? Post your creations in the gallery. We love to see your creativity at work. Have a good one everyone!!

I think there is some official Project 365/Photo of the Day Challenge out there. I’m participating in my own ‘unofficial’ version – are you? The challenge is to take a photo every single day. I try to make mine of something that I did or that happened that day. It’s actually kind of fun! You end up with your own little photo diary. Here are select photos from February. Are you playing along? If not – join in!

You can share your photos with us in our forum. I’d love to see what you’ve been up to.

Did anyone watch The Bachelor last night? Ahhhhhh MAN that was some good stuff. They COMPLETELY over hyped the Deanna part which was a real disappointment. It felt like she was put up to to the whole thing. The REAL drama came ‘After the Rose’’. Holy moly – THAT, Chris Harrison – was dramatic. I’ll give you that. Truly excellent. I really hope the poor dude can make it work with Molly because to go through two seasons and not find someone (at least for a little while) would really suck. I’d love to know what happened between Jason and Melissa that made him change his mind so dramatically so quickly. There’s more on tonight – I figure perhaps he’s changed his mind again. Now he wants Deanna. LOL.

Enough about TV. Hope you’re all busy scrapping and crafting. Thanks for stopping by.

Ciao for now!

Hello out there!!! Can anybody hear me?????
Happy MARCH! What’s everybody up to?

Don’t forget to stop by the forum to pick up this month’s Pimp My Page Challenge Template. What’s the Pimp My Page Challenge you ask? It’s only the most best thing ever. Just download the template. Pimpify it using most Peppermint Creative products, post it in the gallery and every month someone wins a store gift card. Fun!

So go on now, Pimp THAT Page!

And don’t forget the season finale of The Bachelor is on tonight! Ohhh I can’t wait for the DRAMA to unfold. I don’t think either lady is the right fit for him, though they both seem like really nice girls. I wonder what will happen with Deanna. I’m still a little pissed that she let him get down on one knee before rejecting him last season. Not cool man, not cool.
